"RAY IN THE SERVICE DEPT HELPED ME BEYOND "GREAT", "COOL", "THANKS"!!! I LIVE NEAR DAYTONA AND CALLED EVERWHERE TO GET 3 TORQUE SPECS AND NO LUCK. CALLED ALL OVER WITH THEIR 800 NUMBERS AND NOBODY COULD GIVE ME SPECS ON WHAT THEY SERVICE UNTIL I CALLED MOTORSPORTSTAMPA AND TALKED TO RAY. WHEN HE PULLED UP THE INFO HE MADE SURE I HAD ALL THE INFO I NEEDED AND MORE IN CASE I WANTED TO CHECK MORE THINGS FOR MY SAFETY. I AM A SEVERLY DISABLED VET, WHICH HE THANKED ME FOR MY SWERVICE, AND I PROBABLY WON'T GET UP IF I DO GO DOWN. HE DID NOT KNOW THIS UNTIL THE END OF THE PHONE CALL. WHEN I SPOKE TO THE HEAD OF THE PLACE TO RECOGNISE RAY IN THE SERVICE DEPT HE TOLD ME HE WAS BACK THERE AND HEARD THE WHOLE CONVERSATION. MANAGEMENT OUT OF THEIR OFFICE ENSURING THINGS ARE GOING SMOOTH. TO SUPPORT ANY CUSTOMER IN SUCH A PROFFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY MANNER IS SO RARE TO ME IN FL. REMINDS ME OF BIKE SHOPS BACK IN CA. I SIMPLY DON'T HAVE WORDS TO THANK RAY AND THE SYSTEM THAT IS LOOKING OUT FOR OTHERS. I WASN'T ASKED IF I BOUGHT THE BIKE THERE OR WAS ASKED TO BUY SOMETHING...I WAS HELPED WHEN ALL OTHERS I CALLED REFUSED. I WITHHELD MY NAME BECAUSE I DON'T TRUST MY LOCAL DEALERS TO GIVE ME EVEN A HARDER TIME. I DON'T CALL ALL THE TIME....I JUST NEEDED HELP TO ENSURE THE BIKE I JUST BOUGHT WAS SAFE. WHEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE HEAD PERSON I WASN'T ASKED 50 QUESTIONS EITHER. "I purchased a 2008 Honda CBR 1000RR in May. I've been riding for over 43 years and I must say the buying experience was second to none. Charlie in sales is great. I would highly recommend your dealership.
I have only one complaint. I ordered a seat cowl when I purchased the bike. I must have missed something at the time. I live in Sebring and depending on traffic, it's a 5 hour round trip. When the cowl came in I was called and told I had to come to Tampa to pick it up. I was told that it is "policy" not to mail it to me...I even offered to pay the freight....No go...I had to spend 5 hours and $60 in gas to come pick it up. What up wid dat!!!
I would think that if a person just spent over $11,000 at your business that you would make an exception to the "policy". I have purchases 5 other bikes in the past 4 years from a dealer that was 120 miles from where I live. I ordered accessories each time and they always mailed them to me. With the current gas prices and concern for the environment, I'd think you would do the same for a customer that just purchased a bike.
What is the logic behind the "policy"?????
